The feelings of thankfulness, gratitude, and praise...the thought of a peaceful meal with family (current day) and then Elder Sally Holmes presented a look back at the Pilgrims' arrival and their first Thanksgiving nearly a year following their arrival.  Many family members didn't make it on the voyage, they had to start from nothing -- yet the Pilgrims chose to move forward.  They sang their praises to God using the Psalms, such as the joy-filled Psalm 100.  The sermon concluded with the congregation singing "All People Who On Earth Do Dwell", a hymn inspired by Psalm 100.  It is thought to be one of the oldest hymns sung in America as the Pilgrims knew this song/Psalm and sang it at their First Thanksgiving.
